Erg prettig dat je direct alle logs kunt zien onderaan een cachepagina, en niet slechts 5.

Dat konden wij allang met firefox en een scriptje.

 

Edit: en dat ging ook veel sneller, stonden er in een paar seconden, duurt nu gewoon minutenlang....

Erg prettig dat je direct alle logs kunt zien onderaan een cachepagina, en niet slechts 5.

Ik vind dit niet prettig en ik zie ook niet "direct" alle logs.

 

Hoe kan je nu op een snelle manier naar de eerste log op de cachepagina gaan of een SEARCH doen op een keyword in alle logs?

 

Dit kon vroeger dmv één druk op de knop.

 

Ik gebruikte hiervoor de "Show all logs" en <End> toets en de zoekfunktie in mijn browser. Nu kan dit niet meer!

 

Ik erger mij aan het feit dat GS bestaande features, die goed werken en gebruikt worden, weg neemt en vervangt door iets anders.

Waarom had de "show all logs" link niet gewoon kunnen blijven bestaan, naast de nieuwe features "Loading cache logs..." en "View logbook".

 

Nu moeten we terug gaan stemmen om de "Show all logs" link terug te krijgen.

Als ik nu iemands gallery bekijk en op een foto klik, kom ik niet meer bij de log uit waar de foto bij hoort, maar ga ik alleen naar de foto. Ik kan dus niet meer zien bij welke cache/log deze hoort.

Weet iemand of dat de bedoeling was? Ik vind het eerlijk gezegd wel jammer.

Pfff, ik wacht al meer dan 5 minuten en zie nog niet eens 1 log. Dat lijkt me niet erg wenselijk :-(

Voor de "Loading cache logs..." maakt men nu gebruik van AJAX / JSON, en wordt in sommige browsers niet ondersteund.

p.s.: afloggen en terug opnieuw aanloggen kan het probleem ook oplossen.

Wat JSON betreft weet ik het niet, maar ajax is al zou oud, dat zou door alle browsers ondersteund moeten worden. Ik maakte daar al gebruik van bij IE5...

 

Maar ook JSON zou door bijna alle browsers ondersteund moeten worden. Volgens mij is dit weer een performance prbleem bij GC.

Doordat ze nu gebruik maken van JSON response, wordt er bijkomende informatie opgestuurd.

 

Je kan nu op eenvoudige wijze het email adres van een cacher opvragen, ook als de cacher in zijn profiel de optie "Show my email address to other users" NIET heeft geselecteerd!

 

Hopelijk wordt het lek snel gedicht...

Klopt het dat de logjes traag of helemaal niet worden geladen.?

Ik vind dat dynamisch laden echt super-irritant. Het verschijnsel kende ik al van o.a. facebook en hyves. Ik scroll meestal door een pagina door met de muis de scrollbar vast te houden en die dan van boven naar beneden te bewegen. Dat schijnt vandaag de dag blijkbaar niet meer de bedoeling te zijn, want zodra er weer een stukje bij geladen wordt springt het plotsklaps naar een andere plek op de pagina.

Er viel me nog iets op: als je nu de gallery in iemands profiel bekijkt zie je alleen nog maar de foto zelf en kan je niet meer terugvinden bij welke cache die hoort. Toch ook wel een beetje jammer.
