Wij weten wat goed voor je is Maar idd. er zijn enkele lijstjes elders vandaan gehaald om toch enige vulling te hebben. Uiteraard ben je vrij om je selectie te wijzigen/wissen.

Ik adviseer je in dat geval om in je cache-pagina dan de tekst op te nemen dat je niet wil dat jouw cache wordt opgenomen in bookmarklists, private websites, noch enkele andere vorm van waardering waardeert. Geocaching.nl kan hier geen rol in spelen. Ook zul je dan moeten verbieden dat geocachers mond-op-mond reclame uitten over jouw caches. Daarnaast lijkt het me dan dat je Koos de Kapper verzoekt zijn prijs aan GCQKKY in te trekken. Geocaching.nl is faciliterend, niet regulerend. Ik ervaar dat in ieder geval niet zo (dat je er afbreuk aan zou willen doen, bedoel ik)

Als iemand H&R caches supergeweldig vindt, mag hij/zij die ook waarderen met een Geo d'Or. Immers, het is een persoonlijke smaak. De keuze om een cache te gaan doen is toch de beschrijving icm de logjes en niet de positie in Geo d'Or hoop ik toch?! Geo d'Or is alleen een toevoegend hulpmiddel waarmee jij je waardering uitspreekt richting de maker van de cache en dit 'openbaar' doet; niets meer en niets minder.

En dat is dus niet zo. Je kunt je mening herzien. Dat heb ik ook beschreven. Stel je hebt 60 caches gedaan, dus je mag 3 prijzen uitreiken, wat je dus ook doet. Vervolgens doe je de 61e en die blijkt helemaal fantastisch geweldig. Dan stel je gewoon opnieuw je eigen top-3 samen. Je hoeft echt niet te wachten tot logje 80 hoor. Door de grens van 60 naar beneden te stellen, wordt het juist makkelijker om het spelletje te verzieken. Overigens, je zult wel 60 logs moeten frauderen op 60 verschillende caches, anders heeft het geen zin. Maar dat is toch een prima manier? Die beginners kunnen maar 1 geo d'or uitdelen en zullen die dus inderdaad de eerste tijd van cache naar cache laten gaan omdat ze steeds weer mooiere caches vinden. Die vele versnipperde caches met 1 geo d'or (toegekend door de vele beginners) blijven dus netjes onderaan de lijst. De "echte" goede caches werken zich dan vanzelf op naar boven. Overall blijft de lijst dan een goede afspiegeling van wat, in theorie, de hele cachegemeenschap vindt. Veel democratischer lijkt me. You got the point!

IK deel je mening niet. Al is een cache pas 1 keer gevonden, dan nog kan dta zo bijzonder zijn dat je er een Geo d'Or aan wil toekennen. Mee eens. Dat is aan de dames en heren die uitdelen

Nog maar eens uitleggen: De grens van 60 founds is bewust gekozen. Dit blijft onveranderd. Geo d'Or is een virtuele prijs; iets wat veel wordt aangeprezen is meestal de moeite van het bezoeken waard (vergelijk filmprijzen, Emmy Awards etc), waarmee per definitie niet gezegd is dat de rest van de caches maar meuk zou zijn. Nogmaals, de beste aanprijzing is nog altijd de log op geocaching.com. Geo d'Or is een hulpmiddel en geen doel op zich. Mijn advies: Doe caches die jou leuk lijken!

Die discussie had ik ook met die sluwe Vos luisterend naar de naam Rein. Die vond ook dat ik de drempel eruit moest halen, maar ja, dit is nu mooi mijn stukkie Maar ik zal er over nadenken; er is wel wat voor te zeggen om het er uit te halen.

Klopt. Daarom meld ik het nog maar eens, zoals je in de beschrijving ook kan zien: het systeem is subjectief! Een objectief systeem is niet te maken omdat je 'kwaliteit' van een cache niet kan meten. Daarom is er juist bewust NIET gekozen voor een anoniem systeem. Naarmate meer mensen hun lijstje invullen, zal de objectiviteit relatief toenemen.

Dat is ook de insteek niet van het systeem. Daarom kun je ook maar een maximum aantal Geo d'Ors toekennen. Als ik dat onbeperkt zou maken, zou ik van mijn 100 gedane caches er 95 kunnen voorzien van een Geo d'Or; dan zijn die overige 5 dus duidelijk wél flutcaches. Nogmaals, ik zie het als een positief systeem. Wat je top vindt, dat geef je een prijs. De rest niet maar dat zegt niks over de waardering daar over. Daarom is het systeem ook niet anoniem; het hoeft niet want je mag toch best laten weten wie de geocache leuk vond?!

Even snel reageren op de punten Mee eens, zal ik over nadenken Nee, dat kan niet. Probeer maar Nee, je kunt niet meer dan 1 stem per cache uitbrengen. Probeer maar Er kan alleen naar rato worden weggegeven. Er is een bodemmarge van 60 caches. Ruwweg komt het neer op 5% van de foundlogs. Dat kan al en is in het draadje al beschreven Nee, het is een positief systeem Nee, er komt geen klassement. Er is alleen een lijst van 'beste caches' die dus redelijk subjectief is.

Dat klopt. Of het echt een bug is, kun je je afvragen. Ik ga er vanuit dat wanneer je je lijst wijzigt, je opnieuw aangeeft dat je die lijst nog steeds de beste caches vindt. En dat is op die datum. Kwestie van perceptie

Dat is lastige kost omdat we er vanuit gaan dat alleen DHZ-gebruikers die lijst mogen zien. Zo heb ik dat nou eenmaal bedacht. Dus iedereen die geen DHZ-gebruiker is, en dat zijn er nogal wat, zullen dus een niet werkende link krijgen. Ik denk dat dit meer vragen oproept dan dat het antwoorden geeft.

Zoals al eerder gemeld in diverse draadjes, is het nu dan eindelijk beschikbaar. Geo d'Or, een systeem om geocaches te waarderen. Je vindt het links in het menu, ofwel hier. Vooropgesteld dat het systeem vrij basaal is, willen we het jullie toch niet onthouden. Op korte of middellange termijn willen we meer functionaliteit gaan toevoegen. Veel plezier er mee! Heb niet alle reacties gelezen, maar of 'geocaching.nl' hier wat van vind, dat weet ik niet. Geocaching.nl is niet één persoon. Wellicht vind mijn collega wat anders dan wat ik vind. Zelf ben ik niet zo voor dit soort TB's en goodies. Of ik ze zou verwijderen, dat weet ik ook niet; misschien dat ik het wel zou doen als ik niet kan zien (maar wel kan vermoeden!) of het een scherp patroon of onklaar gemaakt patroon is. Als ik 'm zou meenemen, zou ik 'm ook inleveren bij het lokale pliessieburo. Het in bezit hebben van hulzen, patroonpunten etc is zonder juiste vergunning verboden. Deze vallen gewoon onder de wapenwet, zoals al eerder geschreven. Maar als zo'n ding in een cache zit, de mijne bijvoorbeeld, ben ik dan als eigenaar van de cache ook strafbaar?! Geen idee, maar ik geloof niet dat ik die TB in mijn cache zou willen hebben. Heikel punt, maar ook hier geldt weer dat de soep niet zo warm wordt gegeten als ze werd opgediend.

Je zeurt maar... Dat kan niet, dat wordt gecontroleerd. Ook caches die je niet gevonden hebt kun je niet aanbevelen. En je hebt een max. aantal wat je kan aanbevelen. Je kunt pas gaan aanbevelen als je 60 founds hebt of meer.

De Fransen zijn trouwens een stuk minder paranoia. De marinehaven van Toulon laat alles vrij helder zien, inclusief de dokken en de diverse kruisers, vliegdekship en aanverwante.

Op de landingsbaan van het vliegveld van Kopenhagen zie je ook een artefact in de vorm van een dubbel vliegtuig (neen, u heeft niet gedronken). Als je vervolgens naar het oosten gaat, zie je de grote brug tussen Zweden en Denemarken (of was het omgekeerd ). Als je dan het wegdek volgt, zie je dat alle voertuigen altijd in het water belanden; beide linkerstroken sluiten keurig aan. En de Lunettenkazerne in Vught is niet verpixeld.
