"The ESTB user community is informed that ESTB signal is likely to be resumed in the coming days. Service will be provided using Inmarsat-3 AOR-E with PRN 120 (configured with message type 0/2). The planned date for the restart of the signal is Tuesday 14th June morning. This continuation of the ESTB service provision is foreseen to last until February 2006 according to the planned introduction of a standard Message in the EGNOS services. " Het testsignaal op IOR-E is gestopt kortgeleden waardoor er geen SBAS is en dat vinden velen niet leuk. Zodoende wordt het signaal toch nog - totdat EGNOS actief is - uitgezonden. Maar wel blijft, zo begrijp ik, de test-bit gezet dus Garmin apparatuur zal dit signaal niet gebruiken. Even het geheugen opfrissen: MT0/2 zou er in jan. 2005 zijn.

Wel te zien op de GPS, lijkt het wel te doen, maar dat schijnt optisch bedrog te zijn. De gevoeligheid wordt nog geen mm anders.
