Het is niet noodzakelijk om de laatste versie op uw gps te hebben, echter vaak wordt de werking van uw gps er wel beter en/of stabieler van. U kan de software installeren m.b.v. van Garmin-Express of dit handmatig doen. Garmin-Express moet u wel eerst installeren ( registreren is niet noodzakelijk ! ). Wilt u daarvoor geen software installeren, dan kan u de update ook handmatig uitvoeren. Een downgrade ( = oudere firmware installeren ), kan alleen handmatig. Hieronder staat een lijst van actuele Garmin gps series. Niet ieder type is vermeld, want de update voor een 64 is b.v. ook voor een 64s. Staat uw gps-serie niet in de lijst, dan mag u zelf Google'n. Heeft de iPad misschien de nieuwe kaart update al gehad? Als u eens doorklikt naar de reacties ( bij GC.Com ) op de release van de nieuwe kaart, dan staan daar ook meldingen van mensen, die ongeveer hetzelfde als u ervaren. Het lijkt op een bug in het nieuwe kaart systeem. P.s. Helaas heb ik niet de mogelijkheid e.e.a. m.b.v. links te voorzien. U moet zelf even doorklikken naar GC.Com

Een kerkse insteek ( van welke kerk dan ook ) of vanuit een geloof, vind ik ook niet zo erg, zolang het maar niet belerend gaat worden of we hele teksten/psalmen/... moet gaan lezen voor een oplossing. Als je de vragen kan beantwoorden met 'algemene basiskennis' ( of een kleine aanvulling daarop i.v.m. een hiaat ), dan is daar niets mis mee.
