Voor iedereen die het interessant vindt : vanmiddag om 13:20 wordt de James Webb Telescoop gelanceerd.

Nu vinden de laatste jaren heel veel lanceringen plaats en was het in het begint nog spannend of de raket wel goed werkte en alles goed de ruimte in komt, tegenwoordig is zelfs de terugkeer en het landen van de eerste trap een dagelijks gebeuren, waar niemand meer van opkijkt.

Toch is deze lancering wel interessant, want aan de James Webb Telescoop is zo'n 20 jaar gebouwd en gaat de oude Hubble telescoop ( toch eindelijk ) vervangen. Ondanks dat dit al vaker is uitgesteld, vanwege allerlei problemen met de telescoop, lijkt het nu toch echt te gaan gebeuren.

De Hubble is in 1990 gelanceerd en werkt tot ieders verbazing nog steeds. Maar de laatste tijd heeft de Hubble steeds vaker problemen en dat is wel logisch. Want de laatste servicebeurt is al jaren geleden en de hubble is ondertussen al 30 jaar actief.

O.a. daarom is de lancering van de James Webb Telescoop belangrijk. Tevens is deze telescoop natuurlijk weer veel beter dan de oude Hubble, waardoor de wetenschap uitkijkt naar de eerste beelden. Hopelijk worden die beter dan de eerste ( onscherpe ) beelden van de Hubble.

Hier in het mooie Drenthe schijnt gelukkig het zonnetje, is het -4 met een fris windje. De radio staat op de 'Top 2000', dus is de stemming prima !

Als u de caches in C:Geo download voor offline gebruik, dan is dat inderdaad een soort screenshot, van de status op het moment van download. Wilt u de laatst status hebben, dan moet u de caches opnieuw downloaden/refreshen. Dat kan via het menu "Manage Caches" en "Refesh All". Want dan wordt de huidige/actuele status van alle caches opnieuw ingelezen.

Maar "Refesh All" is natuurlijk niet altijd handig, want de kracht van C:Geo is juist offline gebruik, waarvoor een internet verbinding juist niet nodig is. Als u veel caches gedownload hebt in C:Geo, dan is het beter om de cache in C:Geo te openen en dan op refesh te klikken, waardoor alleen de status van die cache opnieuw wordt ingelezen ( maar daarvoor is natuurlijk wel een internetverbinding nodig ).




Maar nu ik uw vraag nogmaals lees ..... als u de caches op uw tablet 100% gelijk wil hebben met die in uw smartphone, dan moet u de caches op uw tablet in C:Geo exporteren en die ( b.v. via WhatApp ) naar uw smartphone sturen, al waar u die export weer inleest.

Algemeen:
Let u wel op : het synchroon houden van bestanden/files/.... op verschillende apparaten kan soms onverwachte gevolgen hebben. Want stel dat u op beide apparaten hetzelfde item hebt aangepast ( maar met andere data ), dan is de kans heel groot, dat na het importeren uw data verliest. Want de data die ( b.v. ) geïmporteerd wordt, overschrijft vaak de aanwezig data ( die dus verloren gaat ).

Verbazingwekkend dat in een sport waar zo verschrikkelijk veel geld in om gaat, de prijs uitreiking zo'n duffe show is !!!

Een rommeltje, waarbij je van vele winnaars niets anders ziet ( je hoort vaak nog minder ) dan dat ze een beker krijgen van een-of-andere.

Eigenlijk valt dit best wel tegen Geen enkele Belgische zender zend deze F1 wedstrijd uit. Ja een Franstalige zender maar dat is niet om aan te horen. We hebben wel sportzenders maar daar moet je extra voor betalen.

De Belgen zijn wel gek van veldrijden en dat is wel live te zien.

Misschien zijn er nog gratis streams te vinden?

Het IS inderdaad een prachtig F1 seizoen !! Natuurlijk fijn dat Max een Nederlanders is, maar eindelijk wordt er weer gestreden voor de winst. Hopelijk mogen ze het volgend jaar weer doen en dat ze dan mogen vechten voor de winst.

Bij ons was het gisteren ook behoorlijk nat en grijs Peetee. Maar het voordeel nu is dat het helder was en de zon dus schijnt. Dan voelt de kou toch anders dan wanneer het grijs is. De eerste wolkjes zijn er intussen wel, helaas.

Ja, met een zonnetje lijkt het stukke beter. Hier zojuist de lampen boven de tafel maar aangedaan, dat leest makkelijker en is iets minder somber.

mmmm, mooie foto , maar niet m'n favoriete onderwerp .

Ik probeer al jaren, om in deze tijd een winterslaap te houden, maar het zal net zoals de wens om te emigreren naar zuidelijker landen, ook dit jaar wel niet gaan lukken .

Gelukkig dat wat lekkers e.e.a. dragelijker maakt !

Volgens mij, zijn dat al sinds het begin de regels voor een CO (Cache Owner ) en dat werd/wordt ook al verwacht van de cache bezoekende geocachers. Dat GC.Com dit nu weer ter 'sprake' brengt, komt waarschijnlijk omdat de kwaliteit van veel nieuwe caches ( in de jaren ) toch iets achteruit gaat. Misschien komt dat ook de hoeveelheid caches die soms in één keer gelegd wordt. Steeds vaker worden ( moeten/willen ) er figuren op de kaart gelegd worden, die natuurlijk bestaan uit heel veel caches. Dat lijkt in het begin misschien leuk, maar voor het leggen van al die caches, zijn b.v. veel 'onderdelen' nodig, waarop ( gezien de aantallen ) misschien iets te veel bezuinigd wordt. Misschien dat daardoor het onderhoud nog meer wordt, dan al verwacht en/of de CO misschien dat onderhoud iets heeft onderschat. Of in de planning van die serie, werd al een korte levensduur 'berekend' en gaan de caches ( serie ) na een korte tijd sneller offline.

Natuurlijk zijn ook de eisen/ideeën van de huidige caches veranderd, waardoor ook de nieuwe caches anders zijn/worden. Het gaat tegenwoordig toch vooral meer om de aantallen, dan om de andere GEOcache zaken. Meer om het cachen dan om geocachen. Maar dat is waarschijnlijk de invloed van de huidige samenleving.

Inderdaad prachtig.

Helaas ( in dit geval ) wonen we iets 'ver' het land in ( ook m.b.t. lichtvervuiling ), maar gelukkig zo wel wat verder van die koude Noordzee af.

Ik hoop ze ooit van iets dichtbij te mogen/kunnen bekijken, maar of dat wordt...
