Geocaching.COM heeft haar website aangepast: Links now point to new search results. " With today’s release, we have updated links on Geocaching.com that were pointing to the old search results, with the exception of Pocket Query preview links. (Note that you can still see the old search results if you have a direct link, or if searching via the old search.) Why did we make this update? There are many different ways to search for geocaches on Geocaching.com. With this update, we are taking the first step towards retiring the old search, which has remained in place for six years since the current search was released in March 2015. The goal is to reduce the confusion from (and related cost of maintaining) multiple search experiences, but also to reduce website vulnerabilities. As a benefit, this update provides consistent filtering and sorting, the option to add caches to a List, and the increased option to map caches from the search results. Details about the update We have updated all links that currently link to the old search results (except Pocket query previews). These links now link to the new search results. For example, a link that started with www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx now links to a URL starting with www.geocaching.com/play/search. The following links are updated: Links to nearby caches below the cache description Links to finds and hides from the player profile Links to the old search on https://www.geocaching.com/my/geocaches.aspx Links to the old search on https://www.geocaching.com/my/recentlyviewedcaches.aspx You’ll now get all the benefits from the new search, such as: Mapping search results (this was not possible for all results in the old search) Adding search results to Lists (this was not possible from old search results) Option to further filter search results Additional (and consistent) filters and sorting Premium members can sort on all columns, Geocache Name, Distance, Favorite, etc. Basic members can sort on Distance Other differences to note: With this change, we removed the workaround for Basic members to access Premium member filter options. Basic members no longer see all finds from another player. The new search results don’t show some of the information that the old search results show. For example if a cache contains trackables or has an uncleared Needs Maintenance icon. Ja, spannend !!! En vanmorgen Marianne Vos ook al !!! Nu gauw ff van de zon genieten en dan vanavond om 21:00 indycar kijken en hopen dan Rinus 'VeeKay' van Kalmthout ook een goede race heeft.

Ik haalde SN15 ( StarShip ) en NS15 ( New Shepard ) door elkaar, omdat die korte code nummers nogal op elkaar lijken . Maar ook de lancering ( tot 106 Km hoogte ) én beide landings van de NS15 waren prachtig om te zien ! Overigens staat in de agenda van Rocketlaunch.Live niets voor 20 april vermeld.

Belangrijk : "...Met deze release laten we de ondersteuning voor Android OS 4.4 (KitKat) vallen. In de toekomst zijn nieuwe releases alleen beschikbaar voor Android OS-versie 5.0 (Lollypop) en hoger. Hebt u dus een smartphone met Android 4.4, dan niet updaten !!!

Geocaching.COM heeft haar Android Geocaching app aangepast: Geocaching® app for Android updates. " With this release, we have made a significant change to the main navigation model in the Android app. Previously, we stored all navigation elements in the drawer. Now, those same navigation elements are moved front and center, and we introduced a bottom navigation model which provides access to the bottom navigation controls from any view in the app. In the header of the app, we have updated the control to access filters. This control is now presented in two states. The first state, shown immediately below, is displayed when filters are in their default state, and the user has not made any changes or edits to the filters. The second state, shown below, is displayed when the player has made changes to the filters, and serves as a reminder that filters have changed. Additionally, parts of the app are refreshed for a cleaner look, and we made map updates for improved performance. We would also like to call out a technical note. With this release, we are dropping support for Android OS 4.4 (KitKat). Moving forward, new releases are available only for Android OS version 5.0 (Lollypop) and higher. Vandaag en vanmiddag waarschijnlijk weinig tijd, dus daarom nu alvast een 'belletje'. Grote kans dat vandaag ( woensdag ) het nieuwe StarShip SN15 getest wordt. Gezien de vermelding 'Suborbital' lijkt SN15 veel hoger te gaan, dan in de vorige tests. Zal SN15 wel goed landen? De verwachte lanceertijd is 5:15 PM, maar de live stream is eerder actief.

Gelukkig werkt de 'oude' kaart zonder problemen.

Misschien handig voor een CO en/of geocacher : Nationale open dataset van 3d-gebouwen. Meer informatie : Alle gebouwen in Nederland in 3d op de kaart, hoe krijg je dat voor elkaar.

Inderdaad. Nog even afwachten of de 60 satellieten in een juiste baan komen en worden losgelaten. Stage 2 gaat nu zo over Nederland. Helaas is het nog ( te ) licht om e.e.a. te zien. Misschien is later op de avond de 'trein' satellieten te zien ....

Voor de geïnteresseerden: een SpaceX Falcon 9 wordt over +/- 2 uur ( 18:30 ) gelanceerd om weer 60 Starlink satellieten in een baan om de aarde te brengen. Of we nu ook de landing van de 1ste trap op het schip “Of Course I Still Love You” te zien krijgen is afwachten. Vaak is dit wel te zien, maar soms ook niet ........

GC.Com is inderaad erg traag. Met de noordenwind is het vaak 'gemeen' koud. Dat is wel logisch, want de ook Noordzee is niet erg warm en wordt ook niet erg warm. Dus wordt de wind vanuit die hoek niet verwarmt, maar vaak zelfs afgekoeld. Ook in de zomer, is het met een lichte ( noord- ) zeewind vaker kouder dan verwacht. Uit de wind blijven is dan vaak het devies.

Kiekeboe, daar is de Ingenuiti Mars Helicopter. D'er was iets met 8 april ... maar wat was dat nu maar weer ... Het schema geeft overigens ook aan, welke onderdelen al wel of nog niet gereed zijn.

Inderdaad. Ik zou zeggen: laat maar komen dat mooie weer en dan gauw wat meer kleurtjes in de natuur, dat maakt alles zoveel mooier.

....en het weer is hier fantastisch. Dus 'verplicht' wandelen .....

Jammer maar geeft niet, wel zo sportief, maar Hamilton is wel ingehaald. Zo goed is Max ( en Redbull ) nog nooit begonnen. Vanavond trouwens ook een prima NasCar race op. Voor het eerst wordt er op onverhard gereden. Dat wordt ook een spektakel !! De race is i.v.m. regen ( op een dirt baan ) verplaatst naar morgen 22:00.

Kijk eens, het weer wordt ( komende week ) veel beter, d'er komt steeds meer kleur in de struiken & bomen én de F1 is gestart, het kon lente zijn . Voor komende week maar een paar lange multi's uitzoeken . Nu nog ff volhouden totdat het wat warmer wordt .

Voor diegene die even niets te doen hebben, kunnen de lancering van SpaceX Starlink-23 terugkijken.

Kijk, dat is duidelijk. Blijkbaar heeft Garmin eindelijk besloten, om het geocachen wat meer en beter te gaan ondersteunen !!
