De cache iets verder op de zoutvlakte van Bolivia (waar morgen de Dakar rally langsrijdt) ligt op 10661.015 km, dus deze ligt ook op >10.000 km. Het mooie is van de caches in dit land is dat deze bijna allemaal op echt mooie plaatsen liggen, dat maakt het cachen echt een leuke hobby en zoals je al aangeeft scoren deze plekken allemaal erg hoog in de plezierfactor lijst, om terug te komen op het onderwerp van dit topic wil je dan ook wel je best doen om er ook een mooie log van te maken.

Dat was inderdaad nog het mooiste, de gids was op de "Che" locatie afgelopen jaren al regelmatig geweest maar hij wist van niets terwijl zijn werkgever mee was met de cachelegger twee jaar geleden. In de cache lagen 1 cent muntjes netjes verpakt waarvan hij er 1 heeft gekregen als lucky-coin (en dat allemaal op vrijdag de 13de.) @TT kan je een PM sturen als deze stats ergens terug te vinden zijn

In Bolivia heb ik een FTF log gemaakt natuurlijk niet in de schitterende volzinnen zoals Diederikus dat kan (zeker niet in het Engels.) Maar toch was het denk ik een aardige poging: FTF log volgt ~~~~~~ This is the way people in Holland "play" Geocaching, not looking at the location but just scoring points, for us it's different and this is our story... 2 weeks ago we emailed the owner for the status of his cache, he didn't know so we had a chance to book our first FTF for a cache who is already 2 years at the same spot. Quickly we made booked a tour at Ben Verhoef in Samaipata and a plane ticket, jumped in the train to Amsterdam Airport and took the plane to Santa Cruz. At the Santa Cruz airport our taxi was already waiting we had no time to loose. Directly to Samaipata where we met our excellent guide Mr. Javier. Because Mr. Javier never headed about Geocaching we first did an easy pickup at the cuevos waterfalls. He was suprised about the fact that a GPS could find such a small box. Now he was informed it was time to go for the real stuff. Javier took his 4x4 and we went off to La Higuera, here we slept in the posade mentioned by the cache owner. A superb atmosphere, great dinner, good sleep by candlelight where the base to go for the Quebrada del Chirp hike. The walk downwards wasn't that hard and we where in 1 hour at GZ, but there where already 2 tourists there, 1 of them had a book in his hand it couldn't be the logbook where we are looking for. For u it was good to see it was only his studybook or something like that so we went searching. The spoiler photo wasn't any help, the whole place was hidden in high grass and other plants. Thank god we had our guide with us and he found the stone underneath some wood. Wow a empty logbook, after 2 years! We gave Mr. Javier a lucky coin and placed my father's TB inside. The cache is in perfect condition. Dank je wel Gert (en Ben) voor deze mooie tour en schitterende wandeling!
